Right now, I have only one predominant goal in life – I am failing in this goal right now, my cocky swagger would tell you as much, I don’t know how to hold my ego back, but I would really like to learn and develop some humility. For some reason, unbeknown to me, I have gone through life thus far with an inkling of a superiority complex; I know I am not better than anyone, I certainly can’t prove that I am better than anyone, so why do I coast through life with a pompous attitude with my n...

Religion belongs in the past. I am sorry, but it has no place in society today, and it is nothing but a tool of frightening the masses into conformity. I had my niece’s christening yesterday; my sister and brother in law have decided that they will be raising her into the Catholic faith. This is fair enough, everyone has the power of choice, and I went along to the church as a mark of respect, but any inclination I had towards Catholicism or Christianity before yesterday is now completely non...

Well, he has done it again. John Winston Howard, leader of the Australian Liberal party, has won a fourth term in office - running second in length of time served only to Sir Robert Menzies. The Liberal party won in what can be a considered a landslide, the trends were showing a comfortable win on the cards half an hour into the polling, and I guess that is pretty convincing. I always watch the polling, the over-indulgence of graphs and pie charts is a treat. What does this mean for Austra...

I went for a brisk walk the other day – it was morning break at work, and the sun was shining outside. As soon as I walked out of the office, there was a Muslim lady walking with a pram – the pram was totally covered by a veil, I am not sure if this is a custom or not, but I am not proud of the thought that transgressed through my mind. Immediately, I thought she could have a bomb in that pram. I live in Melbourne, a place virtually untouched by terrorism, yet my mind, even for a split sec...

The wind is hustling outside, and the clouds are brewing, you can hear the clap of nature telling us that nothing is wrong, but not all is right… I love thunderstorms at times like this; it typifies exactly how I am feeling right now. The awesome power of nature is something to behold, nature is a grand euphemism for emotions as well… While I enjoy feeling like a sunny day, no cloud in sight, it’s important for us to recognise the power of our emotions, feeling like a thunderstorm. Thun...

Personally, I am a big fan of the Scandinavians, as far as the fine human physique goes, blonde hair, blue eyes, and general physical health, you couldn’t want more in a mate. I am at conflict with myself here also, as I also find choc-complexioned members of the sub-continent very attractive – there is a hidden evil though, these genetics are merely cosmetics on a grand scale. Not many people know, in 1997 the Swedish Government disclosed that they had been practicing sterilization of its...

Will you look at this conceited, pig headed moron, appealing to the masses of this blogging community, giving them the power of choice? Yeah – that’s me I guess… the decision is simply too hard for me to make on my lonesome, and whilst it all comes back to me, and how I feel about the situation, I would like to consult my blogging friends – if I have any left that is! For reasons many of you will never know, some of you will assume, and others may implicate, Muggaz has been permanently bla...

Heaven may or may not be in the back seat of my Cadillac, but is it because I have a Cadillac, that you want me to take you there? Vroom, Vroom, Vroom… you will hear a lot of that on Sunday television in Australia, and I am sure the same is true in North America as well… males have a peculiar fascination with things that go vroom, vroom, and I would argue, the bigger the fascination, the higher need for compensation. This isn’t the first time anyone has suggested that males with an inc...

This isn’t the first blog I have started regarding the entrapment of society, by society, and it won’t be the last either, but being a crazy liberal kook slash hippy, it really is my prerogative to lovingly point out that there really isn’t any love at all. If there was no love in this world, there simply would be no world – Love really does make the world go round, I don’t know who said that, or when, but I wonder if they knew about the different kind of love that ensnares modern society ...

Well, theoretically, there is no right or wrong, only boundaries and confines that are placed on us by our peers, I do know I have been crossing those boundaries, and whilst I don’t want to cross them anymore, I want to eliminate them, open the mind and heart, and become a better person. I don’t know what it is about elections, but they are always a time to assess ones personal values, and mine have been under intense scrutiny of late. I never seem to be able to find my comfort zone, with...

This article first appeared in the Guardian , however, I read it in an Australian publication - www.theage.com.au and I enjoyed it immensely, I will now share it with my friends! Being the victim gives an excuse for almost anything... _________________________________________________________________________________ It is who does the suffering that's important September 24, 2004 Some victims are more equal than others. That is the message from George Bush, writes Gar...

Yusuf is Islam was promptly deported from the United States when it was learned he was en route to Washington with his daughter - who was allowed to stay... the question has come up after a compatriot of mine questioned why I am so eager to support my current government - the Howard led coalition, yet I constanlty barage American policies. My compatriot questions my beleifs because our government is an ally and friend of the United States. I am happy with this arrangement - we can look...

As I was reading the transcript of George W. Bush’s address to the United Nations, checking for spelling errors, and I came across the proposed Global Peace Operations Initiative – basically, Bush and his cronies want to train up 75,000 African troops to keep the peace in that region, along with international deployments where required. I must have missed it when it was proposed at the G-8 summit earlier this year, or I was looking in the wrong places, but I really don’t know what to t...

This is Michael Moores rally to the Democrats, I dont know what he is talking about, but everywhere I look, Bush is winning the election - is he instilling false hope in the bumbling Kerry campaign? or is he giving the republicans something else to laugh at pointlessly... I just wish people would focus on Policies rather than speculate... I think he hits the nail on the head when he talk's about seperating 9/11 and Iraq - It has turned to shit, and I think Kerry is your best hope out of t...

The saturation of the media we are experiencing in Australia surrounding politics at the moment is nothing short of astounding. We have a federal election on October 9th, Indonesia had their election today, and of course, who could forget about the battle to end all battles, George Bush vs John Kerry in the United States of America presidential race to be decided in November. I will vote in the October 9th election in Australia, and my decision has been made, I will be voting for the coali...
