A day to day acount of the whacky and wonderful world of Muggaz - i tend to be having too much fun these days, and often cannot remember moments due to debauchery - its time the internet repayed my loyalty by recording my antics.

I really don't know what to think of this place lately. This is my 135th article, and I am sitting comfortably poised as JU's most entertaining, comical and original blogger. I don't know how many people voted, it doesn't really matter... my ego is happily saturated with good thoughts though, and I am happy I have received recognition just for being myself, I cannot emphasise that point enough.

I have got to say though, I am becoming a bit apprehensive about airing my dirty laundry on this website. Certain private issues that should not be discussed between individuals on public forums just keep on popping up, and its making me angry. This is probably one of the few Blogs you will see from me about blogging, but its simply become part of my life, and I cant ignore that anymore!

Its also weird, because as my JU career continues, you find out who your real friends are and the people that really do care about what's going on in your life, as compared to the post whores who just want another 5 points. The people that care, you know who you are... and if I haven't done it enough over the past few days, I must continue to thank-you. You also learn that people who you were good friends with at one point of time on the site, have simply grown apart because of revelations of beliefs etc. simply different people, and there is no point trying to get a long with them if they don't agree with who you are.

I am also undergoing a dilemma as well... a lot of my friends ask me about thoughts on happenings, musings or antics, and I want to point them to my blog, but I don't really think that's a wise idea in most cases. I relish the privacy and the will to type whatever I want... however, all they need do is type Muggaz in Google and my game is up... I am not afraid of anyone reading anything, because I would have said it to them in real life anyway, just the fact that it's playing on your mind 'what if' so and so reads this???

I suppose JU has just become another of lifes little problems, because i am struggling to fit in here at the moment... people are making me angry, and sometimes showing their true colours, and they are not the people i took them for. It seems the only true ally i have at times is Sir Peter Maxwell, for which i am most grateful, if were to choose any ally, it would be him!

I just want JU to be fun, and unfortunately, actually building relationships with certain people has only let me down. It's not often you will get a whinging blog from me, and I would just like to finally note, that i have faith in everyone on the website, except Marvin Cooley, and JU will still become one hot location for Blogging superstars (Sir Peter Maxwell) and groupies (Myself), please just remember it is public forums, and there are some things we just dont want to know, and because it is a community, you may just burn more than one bridge.

BAM!!!

Blogging is an interesting experience. Sometimes I think I'll quit other times I spend too much free time here. I think that no matter who we are, we only show part of ourselves. In person is different from on paper, no matter how honest we are. I think it would be better if I regained my sense of humor. I seem to have lost it, when things got hard for my family. But I really enjoy reading those of you who can joke, including you, Muggaz.

Yeah, I love disagreeing! You see, I ask my friends to read my blogs. Even the most personal one's such as 'why teenagers are the way they are'. that one was so freakin' personal and I still asked my friends to read it. I don't care. If my personal life is something that i have to hide from everyone than I'm doing something wrong in my life. Where, on the other hand, if i can freely blog and even let my friends see it than i'm good to go.
(Dang I'm a lazy writer. I can't even capitalize my I's everytime)
As for the friendship thing. I feel if I'm going to make friends it will just happen. I consider most of you guys, that have responded to this blog, to be friend. And to be honest, I'm not too worried if some of you don't feel the same way about me cause i don't expect you to all like me. I'm an annoying teenager after all. POWER TO THE TEENS!!!!

Capt. over and out!

Good timing, Muggaz, you decide to be obnoxious only after you got all those awards from Gem City--real class.

Better idea for ya. How's root beer sound?

Cornbread- you don't really annoy me, but if I'm not in a good-natured mood the immaturity can get to me. I have a funny feeling Trin is with me on that one. Well, except for the first part:)

Maybe there is a hidden message in my article that even i didn't understand!!! Steve, your's is an opinion that is definitely respected by me, so i am a bit taken aback by what you said...

If i came across as obnoxious, i sincerely apologise, that was not my intention... i would like to know what you found obnoxious though, so i can have the oppurtunity to defend myself! I am pretty sure the lofty heights of the JU podium haven't changed me though, i am still quite grounded

I think i know what you may be referring to though, and i think you have called on the situation quite before you know the whole story... And i would have thought you would have the sense to know what you are talking about before you call someone obnoxious.

hi muggaz. seems i picked an opportune time to visit. i didn't find your article offensive at all. i found it interesting, though, that nearly everyone who reads your blog (including me) was thinking "oh, no, was it ME?". that seems to indicate that you are held in high esteem by your fellow bloggers. i tend not to comment in other peoples' blogs much (this being my private paranoia), but i do read yours often and adore it.

as for beer and coffee. ha. i don't drink those either. but i have some heart-warming words for you (should you ever find yourself up this way): north-coast hydro. hehe. nothing finer. pop over for a chat, pet. mig XX

Actually, I didn't find this article offensive either. So it did sort of surprise me that somebody else just might. But people WILL surprise you sometimes. Even on JU. And I personally think this is the coolest site I have ever visited! Anyway, I will always be quick to praise Muggaz. Because I think he is a man of genuine bravery and character. How do I know? Especially since I am just a newbie on JU? Because he doesn't chase after popular opinion. He says what he says--and if somebody is offended? BAM!!! And I completely respect that. I will even offer you a quick example now: I was recently attacked rather unjustly by a complete cyberstranger because of one of my blogs. A very insulting comment was posted, and then the cowardly enemy disappeared forever. All of a sudden, here comes Muggaz. He actually had the balls to say that he thought there was a lot of truth in what I had to say in my article. That he actually agreed with me! And I cannot even begin to tell you how totally generous and cool I thought he was being. (Thanks Muggaz--I really do owe you one.) Because not too many souls are fearless enough to contradict somebody during a really intense cybermoment. Most people just don't wanna rock the boat. But Muggaz is the exception. He states what he honestly feels and believes. Does that mean he is being obnoxious? Hell no! It means he is a man who simply tells it like it is--who speaks the truth--be it awful or good. Just like he did in this article. And if you are a little bit (or a lot) offended by what he has to say? Oh well. BAM!!!! (Thanks again dude.)

Interesting dilemma, whether to separate your personal and online lives?

I know many people who have a similar dilemma with mixing their work and social lives.

We all say things to some friends which we would never say to other friends. It may be the topic of conversation, it may be the way we say it, it may even just be a difference of opion that you want to avoid talking about. With blogging everyone gets to read what you said. Normally you don't care as people can make their own minds up about you, but for friends it's different. Friends are people you know who you don't want to upset and therefore you would normally hold or modify comments in that light.

I would suggest you do tell your friends of your blogging (if they ask). Some you may be happy to read what you have to say, others you may know will get upset. But they are your friends and knowing you better if always a good thing.

Paul.
