Work went really fast yesterday. We just got a new voice over IP phone system installed, and i had to learn up on that quick smart. IT was really easy though, and i am looking forward to getting used to the system. IT will make my job a dam sight more easier, and i wont have to deal with idiots as much.
After work i went to Eoins place... he picked me up and we just settled down to a spliffo and some beer out the back. It was a rather pleasant evenening and the air was warm. We had some really good converstaion with his room mate Steph, and we had a massive Pizza for dinner... Eoin lives in Brunswick... it's a wierd part of Melbourne... really diverse. The trendy and chic youth live and hang out there, and there are the old ethnics, and also the commision housing... I cant really explain the area.
After that we went to Linas' house. He is another of my friends who has just broken up with his girlfriends... of about 4 years. I actually might be moving out of here and in with him. He lives in Hawthorn.. that is a much nice suburb in Melbournes inner east - it would only take me 10 minutes ot get to work from there, and it is very close to a lot of good pubs. He is getting back to me shortly, but he is 99% of it... It will be good to get away from my current roommate, but i imagine i will miss Tim - he would be around all the time anyway.
Linas is a pretty cool musician... its hard for me to Explain exactly what he does, but he produces electronic music with various programs, and plays it like a DJ would play on the turn tables... Him and Adrian would probaly be the best live acts in Melbourne.
Anyway... After Linas' we went to Vlats house in South Melbourne... Vlat is another of the MTM guys... he had some quality techno playing, and Pete had made some new Mixes... there was Days of Agawrian Thunder, and Agawrian nights... i shall tell you about the Agawrian way antoher time... but last night was good fun.. just spent drinking with the guys, playing X-box and listening to pounding pounding techno music.
I got home at about 3.30am and went straight to sleep. I woke up at about 11.30am this morning... but i have't really felt like doing much today. I pretty much got up and had a shower then watched the extended version of the fellowship of the ring. That goes for ages, but the addiotions are cool. Then we watched some DEftones in Hawaii DVD... it was ok, but a little cheesy.
Tonight we are going out for drink for my birthday. I dont like having my celebrations on days that aren't my birthday, because i feel like i am cheating... but i had no choice, i cant really go out and get pissed on a Monday night, i dont think my bosses would appreciate it... besides, a lot of my friends are soft and wouldn't imagine coming out on a moday night.
Linas and Adrian have to play at MTC tonight... so they are coming to Lounge for a bit, and then we are all going to go and watch them. I think it will be the most people ever at an MTC!!! lol.
I am in a really good mood... and looking forward to going out and being amongst my firends...
