Well, hasn’t this week just rocketed along?
I find myself here, already Thursday morning, and I have got to say that I have found this week most pleasant indeed. Usually after a big weekend enjoying illicit substances, you don’t really look forward to the week ahead. There is a general disposition that you will be tired, grumpy and basically not motivated to do anything. I have got to say, this has not been the case for me at all this week!
I am pretty good at party recoveries. I usually maintain an existence through obtaining about 6 hours of sleep a night. This weekend because I totally missed Saturday nights sleep, I couldn’t sleep at all on Sunday – because I wouldn’t have been able to sleep a good 8 hours on Sunday night, which I was able to do. I have made a sterling recovery, and I have not had reason to be grumpy all week, in spite of my obvious depletion of Serotonin!
Last night we played soccer, and I have to say that I was excruciatingly tired after the game. When you are used to playing every single week, and you have a break for about a month, its not so good on the old ticker – especially when you have been partying and abusing substances a lot over said period!!! Eoin was freaken late to the game, so we didn’t have an substations for the entire first half, and it showed, I was ever so short of breath and could run with my usual vigour, but we won anyway, and it was just good to get the first game out of the way – the fitness will come back relatively soon.
Last night I also played a joke on my brother. I found a dead fly and put it in the cone of the bong, and then I packed the cone with mix and handed it to him… in spite of me and Brad laughing hysterically, he continued to rip it even though he was having notable difficulty. It was so funny when he was done… I couldn’t stop laughing. He received the news with a smile… I just know I won’t be letting him pack anything for me! I don’t quite trust him. I know he will get me back in the end, and I definitely deserve it, but I will be watching him like a hawk, and he will find it difficult to get one past me.
After soccer I went over to Sean’s house… he cant afford to play this season, so I didn’t really talk about the game because it is poison on ones ears if you really want to play but can’t. He just showed me what he is up to in his industrial design class… he is a really good artist. He showed me some sketches that he only had 3 minutes to do, and they were better than anything I could do if I had 3 hours. Nick was also there, so we just caught up and I was finding out the attendance for my birthday. I called the guy at Lounge to book a table, and I was pretty wasted and I was just talking crap to him… I booked the table under Muggas, and those f00ls in the background were laughing, so he thought it was a joke. I made sure I gave him my number so that he can call me back to confirm if he deems it necessary
Tonight I am going to have dinner at my sister Danielle’s house in Wonga Park. Am looking forward to a nice hearty meal and meeting her puppy. It is one of those little Maltese rat dogs that is really small and would loss a fight to a cat… but by all reports it’s pretty cute, and I do have to see how she is going with the pregnancy and all… They live in a nice house, the only problem is that it takes ages to get there from my house… oh well… a pleasant drive I suppose!
Righteo then… I hope you all have a pleasant day and I will catch you on the flip side.
BAM!!!
