A day to day acount of the whacky and wonderful world of Muggaz - i tend to be having too much fun these days, and often cannot remember moments due to debauchery - its time the internet repayed my loyalty by recording my antics.
Cartoons know everything.

I don’t know if I should thank Walt Personally, or the underpaid goon who came up with the script for some hopeless forest animals, but in the movie ‘Bambi’ there is a line where Thumpers mum remarks to her devious son of a Rabbit “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all” This particular line has resonated with me since I saw the movie – I don’t know if that is because my older sisters were Disney sadists, repeating lines whenever they could, or whether it’s because it was the first movie I remember watching at the cinema’s – it’s beside the point, but for such a simple, and at face value, innocent statement, it certainly has stuck with me, and I believe it profound enough to pass along.

Am I an angel sitting on my halo because I have never said anything that wasn’t nice? Darn tootin’ I am not. Alas, this is one of those grey areas where occurrences and intentions don’t always comply. I used to write about 2 blog’s a day, commenting on this or that – but I kind of realise that anything I said wasn’t really constructive, and everyone knows that no one likes a critic, so I guess I have learnt to shut my mouth and hum Hawaiian beach tunes in my head when I see something that aggravates me.

Is my lack of critique and social commentary a good thing? As far as I am concerned, it is. I never knew a deer could be so freaken smart, but keeping to ones self is very healthy. I don’t feel like I am taking the moral high ground by not commenting, because when morals are concerned, I am afraid of heights. It’s kind of like a sea change, sometimes I don’t have much nice to say, so my silences can be deafening…

I am saying something now though – and Thumpers mum would be really proud… Christramaka (Christmas/Ramadan/Chanukah) is upon us, and now is not the time to worry about he said or she said. Actions speak 10,000 times louder than any words ever do. I have some friends amongst this little community whom I Love and respect very much, they know who they are, and they know I love them very much. For some, it’s not so much Love, but certainly respect – they know who they are as well. As the festive season approaches, please, stay safe and I hope you get your hearts desire over the period.

May Peace be with you all.
