Hello Internet.
You people who started a Blog because sharing your thoughts with the world really appealed to you, may feel somewhat cheapened by the fact that i am merely starting one because i have nothing better to do.
Its Tuesday morning, about 37 C outside, and i am stuck at work in what would appear to be one of the slowest days of my life. I cant really pinpoint why roday is running so slow - yes, it is dead at work, yes, the festive season is approaching, no, i have nothing particularly exciting tonight... i am really at a loss, so i will just grin and bear, whilst entertaining the thought, that perhaps someone, somewhere is almost as bored as i am reading this non-descript tripe.
Sorry if i am not down with the whole blogging idea - its not really a concept that has taken hold in Australia yet... or it may have, its just that we dont know it yet, because the general stereotype of a Blogger is that of a recluse and generally not really extroverted people - i am probably shooting myself in the foot here, please be assured that i have no intentions to hurt anyones feelings, i just have a sever lack of tact, and i say whats on my mind
Those of you who expect something insiteful from all journal entries, you may just be let down - because this journal is for my benefit, and not ayone elses - if you like it, good for you, pat yourself on the back or something... but i have to admit, there will be plenty of entries with a lot of happenings and experiences, and its my guess that some of you would hold me in contempt for some of my views and outlook on life - my message to you, please dont criticise me, but take the time to perhaps see something from another perspective, i am always will to listen to critiques, that doesn't mean i have to act on them though.
If your interested, i am just a 21 year old guy from Melbourne, Australia... I was born here, and i will die here. I sincerely believe Australia is the best country in the whole world to live, closely followed by Canada and New Zealand - yes, my views are biased, and i haven't even been to either Canada or NZ, but i still consider myself quite worldly, and based on the climate, people, and government - Australia is right up there. The thought only rings more true when you actually have seen some of the world - i was fortunate enough to do so in 1998, i loved France... it was a tremendous learning experience, and i will definitely go back - Melbourne will always be my home though. I am actually heading off to Europe for 3 years next October... i crave life experience, as it really is the only way to develop ones soul... sould development aside, i am really just looking forward to partying with Europeans to pounding techno music and awesome live bands... the World Cup in Germany in 2006 is the big one though, and i will be there.
Well... that will suffice for the time being, I think i might just observe some random blogs so i can at least attempt a little conformity... i am sure you dont want to much rocking the boat right? but if ayone does read this, and can provide any insite on blogging, i am quite the willing student.
Peace.
