A day to day acount of the whacky and wonderful world of Muggaz - i tend to be having too much fun these days, and often cannot remember moments due to debauchery - its time the internet repayed my loyalty by recording my antics.
just another one for the ages!

The weekend started pretty early for me… I was home from work by 5.30pm on Friday night… I was really looking forward to the night ahead… I had arranged to meet up with Erin, one of my favourite people of all time! She came over at about 6.00pm, chilled at mine for a while, and then we went and saw ‘Endless sunshine for a spotless mind’ It’s a movie that I hadn’t really heard much about – It stars Jim Carey, Kate Winslet, Elijah Wood and Kirsten Dunst.

Anyone who has ever had their heart broken will empathise with this movie quite easily – I wont give too much of the plot away, but basically it is about 2 people (Carey and Winslet’s characters) who discover a service that assist’s with removing a person from your memory. This gives the directors a lot of creative space, and they don’t disappoint. I recommend that anyone who has been in a relationship go and see this movie, although, it is not for the easily moved… the lady who was sitting next to Erin and myself was in tears!!!

After the movie, Erin came back to my place for a bit, and we continued catching up… her position as one of my favourite people was consolidated as she left… we committed ourselves to not letting my feelings get in the way… as long as she doesn’t whinge about her boyfriend, and I don’t fawn over her (as if) our relationship will be fine, and I guess it’s better to have her in my life as a friend than not at all!!! My chance will come soon enough though, of this I am sure

At work during that day, Glen and I were discussing not going out and having a big night on Friday night – this was because we had an epic Saturday night planned… It turns out we couldn’t hack it though… barely within 20 minutes of Erin leaving, I received a phone call from Glen that him and Lyndon would be at the Geebung – our local establishment. I wasn’t ready to retire for the evening though, so you can bet your bottom dollar that I joined him! And what a clever move that was!!!

As soon as I got there, I was not disappointed. I found Glen and Lyndon standing on the centre of the dance floor, immersed in beautiful woman having a great time!!! The ratio was fantastic… it was literally us 3 guys on the dance-floor, with a few stragglers on the fringes, surrounded by about 25 chicks… Heaven. There is one problem with the Geebung though – it closes at 12.00am. This is about the time when you are starting to get really wasted, and you don’t want to go home and lie down – because spinny winny will ensue

Glen and Lyndon were considerably more intoxicated than me though, so whilst I wasn’t keen on ending my night at that stage, I felt that I needed too – I had grand intentions for the following evening, and there were a few people back at my house anyway, So I left those crazy cats to head into the city, and I began the short journey home… I found a couple of hour’s entertainment playing wasted chess!!! I was asleep by 2.00am… that’s like a record or something for me!

I actually did something with my day on Saturday! Instead of lying incapacitated in my bed all morning, I woke up and did some housework!!! We had a whole bunch of empty longnecks in the kitchen, and it was time to take out the trash!!! Hehe… after that was done, I just did a general turbo tidy, and headed to my brothers house and chilled with them for a while… It was my mission to try and get Tim to come and see Mum, but he is a really lazy dude, and he wasn’t interested – I sometimes worry about that boy – he takes family for granted. I was even doubly disappointed when I arrived and my Nana was there. I have been feeling guilty lately because I haven’t seen my Nana for a while, and she is old and stuff… but it was really good to see her! It also means that I don’t have to go to Ararat for one of my cousins 21st’s, because I was only going to go to see Nana, but it is on a busy weekend for me, so I am sure she wont mind anyway… I don’t know, I might go, but that particular weekend is going to be intense.

I got home at about 6.00pm… busted a quick shower, and then Glen came to pick me up. We went down to Kew and got some dinner and some warm up drinks… Warm up drinks tend to make your night a bit cheaper… this wasn’t the case in this situation, It just contributed to my extreme wastedness!!! We watched some footy, and also did a little bit of brainstorming – we have a business idea that has enough potential to deserve some serious thought and discussion, which we will get around to this week some stage… it’s a pretty exciting prospect… We also discussed plans for a possible European adventure next year… as opposed to a total pack up and leave, we are discussing going for a contiki tour over the space of a month… someone help the ladies of Europe if this ever comes to fruition… us three would be responsible for quite an amount of mayhem!

The Perseverance (the establishment we visited - not my drinking) was in fine form as well… the ratio was good, and the drinks were flowing… but, as seems to be the trend, that place turns into a meat market about 12.00, and heaps of guys rock up… so we headed off to the lounge. They had some fat break beats playing, although, by the time we got there, we were really, really wasted… I did a lot of dancing their, but it was weird; I didn’t really talk to anyone except a couple of weird chicks from Austria… I didn’t really talk to anyone on a deep level this weekend… which is strange, because I always have some conversation with random’s… I suppose I had a lot on my mind! I am usually happy in my own little world

I got to sleep at about 5.45am on Sat night…$250 later from the combined spend on Friday and Sat night . I woke up at about 13.30pm to the sound of Linas’ girlfriend doing the dishes… I was understandably dehydrated! So I just drank loads of water… I was pretty mad though… I keep on receiving calls from a chick I am just not interested in… I have tried the honest approach, and blatantly told her their was no chance, but she keeps on calling me… and if you call me at 10.30am on Sunday morning, you are signing your death wish… hehe… I had to lie to her and told her that I scored; it seems to be the only way… I felt terrible though… but I guess you have to look after #1 right?

The remainder of the afternoon was spent at the Laundromat’s with Laima… it’s good to have a Laundry buddy, because Linas’ mum does his laundry for him… that’s cool… because I have done my own Laundry ever since I was 15 anyways… winter sucks for drying clothes. There was this dude outside the Laundromat with a 7 week old pug dog… It was the cutest thing I have seen in a long time… It’s funny how cute little animals can make you feel warm and fuzzy inside! I need to seriously consider getting a kitten… but it has to be a cat that doesn’t leave it hair all over the place… I have pretty much decided, the decision hangs in the balance with Linas’ opinion though – and he is thinking about it.

Last night I just watched some TV, and talked to a friend on the phone… this particular friend is very beneficial to me, and I appreciate her wisdom more than I would ever let on… you know who you are! And you are a dear and appreciated friend! Tonight symbols the beginning of new stage in my life as well… I am beginning swimming each Monday. Wednesday and alternating Friday nights… this is because I would just like to obtain a higher fitness level, and also swimming is great for meditation… all you have to concentrate on is following the black line at the bottom of the pool… I Also need to begin somewhat of a de-tox from the potola, because of new laws being introduced in Victoria – but that is another blog

Thanks for reading – have a good week!

BAM!!!

Hey Muggaz! Just wanted to say thanks for checkin' out my ramblings. I am indeed a classy chick and I'd like to think I all also Classy Chic. You picked right up on the what I was going for when I chose that SN every so long ago. Eternal Sunshine is a great flick and I saw the new Harry Potter which I like better than the other two. As the books get longer, they will have to start being more selective about what gets into the movie. The first 2 seemed to drag. Okay, back to work.
