A day to day acount of the whacky and wonderful world of Muggaz - i tend to be having too much fun these days, and often cannot remember moments due to debauchery - its time the internet repayed my loyalty by recording my antics.
I'm a JoeUser loser...hehe
Published on June 3, 2004 By Muggaz In Blogging
I get to work in the morning, clear out my inbox, deal with any pressing matters... then go to Joe User...

What has happened over night whilst I slept? This is what I am thinking as the page loads...

I see that their is another article in the political forums that inflames me... I will write an article in response, I know someone will read what I have to say...

The phone rings - A client's server is down... The morning rush of problems caused by faulty backups or possible virus infections starts... I minimise my browser.

As I deal with each client and task, I open another email, I use this as my template for my response of said article - and my comments for the day, this way, should my boss walk past, I am working hard, sending an email to a client

I quickly glance at the replies, and post my own - I sneak in a look at some other articles... My work doesn't exactly suffer - I have an addiction - I suffer from JoeUsism.

I get home on the weekend, absolutely off my dial... while the others make comfortable on the couch, I check JU... I want to see what my wierd and wonderful friends are up to, I know it has been something different...

I dont think this particular Ism (the article for those that dont know) is a particularly bad affliction. JoeUser has helped me develop as a person. I learn of International opinions and perspectives.

Knowledge is power, however, wisdom is benevolance - I crave wisdom. JoeUser inspires me to learn, it inspires me to understand.

I get home in the evening, exchange pleasantries with my housemate, then I check JU... not much has changed from when I last checked, just before I left work

I try to watch TV, but then something inspires me to write an article...

Thanks for the knowledge and inspiration JU.

BAM!!!

Before I found JoeUser, my go-to website was Fametracker. Now, when I sign on, it's likely to be JoeUser. It's become one of my "must-see" websites. There is always something new going on here, whether it be flame wars or Brad's updates about the site. It's a lot of fun!

I don't use these little acronymns often, but I think this time it's appropriate.

I'm not sure if it's unfortunate or not - my hubby seems to think so -- but I too should join JUAnon

I put Elana down for a sleep and KNEW I had that half hour/hour to do all my housework and have a shower before I had to meet a friend at the shops at 11:00am -- but what was I doing?

Not laundry, not washing up, not making bottles, not showering -- but surfing Joeuser and talking on msn.

And I read this blog not long after it was posted this morning and I thought of that song "Not an Addict" (K's Choice)

**It's not an habit, it's cool, I feel alive
If you don't have it you're on the other side
I'm not an addict (maybe that's a lie)**

Muggaz~totally cool article dude! Yeah, I wasn't able to spend as much time on JU for the last couple of weeks because of my friggin' computer~it crashes and freezes up on me so much now that I rarely can stay online for more than ten minutes at a time! . So I have noticed that I do feel especially anxious and everything now~I guess I must be hooked big time, huh? . Thanks for the cool article dude!
