A day to day acount of the whacky and wonderful world of Muggaz - i tend to be having too much fun these days, and often cannot remember moments due to debauchery - its time the internet repayed my loyalty by recording my antics.
I'm a JoeUser loser...hehe
Published on June 3, 2004 By Muggaz In Blogging
I get to work in the morning, clear out my inbox, deal with any pressing matters... then go to Joe User...

What has happened over night whilst I slept? This is what I am thinking as the page loads...

I see that their is another article in the political forums that inflames me... I will write an article in response, I know someone will read what I have to say...

The phone rings - A client's server is down... The morning rush of problems caused by faulty backups or possible virus infections starts... I minimise my browser.

As I deal with each client and task, I open another email, I use this as my template for my response of said article - and my comments for the day, this way, should my boss walk past, I am working hard, sending an email to a client

I quickly glance at the replies, and post my own - I sneak in a look at some other articles... My work doesn't exactly suffer - I have an addiction - I suffer from JoeUsism.

I get home on the weekend, absolutely off my dial... while the others make comfortable on the couch, I check JU... I want to see what my wierd and wonderful friends are up to, I know it has been something different...

I dont think this particular Ism (the article for those that dont know) is a particularly bad affliction. JoeUser has helped me develop as a person. I learn of International opinions and perspectives.

Knowledge is power, however, wisdom is benevolance - I crave wisdom. JoeUser inspires me to learn, it inspires me to understand.

I get home in the evening, exchange pleasantries with my housemate, then I check JU... not much has changed from when I last checked, just before I left work

I try to watch TV, but then something inspires me to write an article...

Thanks for the knowledge and inspiration JU.

BAM!!!

Oh dear; I read your posting when I got into work this morning, and it seems it was prophetic - I've been stuck on this website all day now... Bad Dune, bad.

dayyum. for the past three years ive been scheming..i mean building a business plan for a proposed faith-based community organization. i already had the basics down because for even more years, whenever i had to fill out an online form, i listed my title as ceo/spiritual adviser of the cult institute founded by my corporation. altho id sorta been kicking around the idea of a community online cybersexual surrogacy, ive been remiss in recruiting cult priestesses.

while reading this thread, i gotta immediate and impossible-to-ignore message from the spirits that populate my tower::

shaman kingbee...this is your mission...go forth and found the one true faith-based ju addiction rehab clinic and start collecting some of that funding the president has earmarked for you. and dont forget to to get your hands on the substantially relaxed regulations for setting up a credit union as a faith-based community activist organization because if youre gonna go for the gold, be bold.

It is a truism that most people use JoeUser because of my wonderful blog. I have brought many bloggers to this site and I feel I am responsible for the recent increased usage. Many bloggers have turned to me in times of despair, when their articles weren't doing so well, and my endorsement made these blogs popular. I am sure most resonable bloggers will agree.
