A day to day acount of the whacky and wonderful world of Muggaz - i tend to be having too much fun these days, and often cannot remember moments due to debauchery - its time the internet repayed my loyalty by recording my antics.
Friday evening

Last night was pretty chill.

The last few hours of work seemed to drag... the last hours of the week are skitzophrenic... they can be so awesome, yet so tedious at the same time... I just killed time by emailing Adrian and offering him my pshycho analysis on his current situation... it was fun.

As soon as it got to 5.30, i just used works shower and got changed - headed over to the pub for Heath and Rogers going away drinks. I love beer... yesterday was a perfect day for beer consumption. We had a reservation at Tho Thos restaurant at 7, and shortly before we still had two full jugs left, so my director has handed me one of the jugs, and told me to skull it... what a fantastic work culture!

Dinner was pretty nice. I enjoy occassions like that where we can just joke around, and perhaps talk crap and get to know one another a bit better. There are many within the company that i dont know well, but when a new person comes along, i always make a concerted effort to have a chat and make them feel welcome - the opening environment when you start a job is essential to a long term carreer there, and within the IT industry, the churn rate is rather large, so our friendly environment gives us an advantage over the other employers. It was nice Vietnamese food... it was actually quite a smorgasbord! you should always be full after eating Asian food.

David drove me to the bottleshop and then to Linas' after that... we just watched some B grade movie while we waited for Adrian. As soon as Adrian got there, we booted off to Eoins and caught a Taxi to the loung from their. Tim, Mill and Simon were already there having a drink... There was a nice chill vibe about the place as well. There was this bunch of crazy arts students sitting in the booth next to us, playing crazy games... best sex position, favorite dance, most number of times in one night, wierdest place you have done it etc... And they just grabbed me and made me start playing with them!!! Thats why i love the lounge... the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.

We enjoyed quite a few drinks, and i was actually quite loaded so i felt it was time to go at about 1.30. Other than two tribes, i have been having really early night lately! i suppose its because i am not really motivated to stay out! i have just been happy chilling and taking it easy i suppose... last night was good fun, but i was to drunk to contine.

The taxi driver we had wasa acrazy old Croation... he was very funny, and he seemed to be having a lot of fun. Simon and Tim were getting up to mischeif in the back seat, taking all the stickers for non smoking and all that stuff... the taxi driver almost busted them, but those two are sly dogs.

I got inside, knocked a hot one back... and passed out on the couch. I slept till about 12.00 today. I was supposed to organise a ute for moving all my stuff to Linas', but we worked out my bed stuff will fit on Marks roof, so we are getting that together tomorrow. Tonight i am going to Caitlins birthday in Kew... that should be ok, but i am rather indifferent... just the same old people doing the same old thing, and i am not really excited at all... I hope some gorgeous random wanders in of the street so i can strike up some witty and charming conversation, but i dont think that is likely. I will just get wasted again i suppose!

BAM!!!

Sounds like it was a cool night! Hopefully I'll visit Australia one day, so maybe I'll look you up to show what's cool and whats not! JK

Wasted is good, but not all of the time!

Have fun
