A day to day acount of the whacky and wonderful world of Muggaz - i tend to be having too much fun these days, and often cannot remember moments due to debauchery - its time the internet repayed my loyalty by recording my antics.

The Immortal line from Top Gun uttered by a tall, arrogant USAF Pilot named Iceman to a pilot who has just saved the day -

"YOU! -you can be my wingman anytime"

to which the hero replies...

"Bullshit, you can be mine"

Wingmen - a fabulous concept of guys who look out for each other in the turbulent environs of battle in the atmosphere, or battle in the nightspots... always on the look out for a Bogie, or a Babe. I had two fantastic wingmen, but they have been decomissioned by said bogies, or babes - depends how you look at it!

It's so much easier and encouraging when you have friends on that dancefloor looking for the same thing you are, and guiding your targeting devices or running interference, I have to get used to working alone again, and my number 1 and 2 backups are now occupied on long term missions.

These long term missions do have their benefits though - new babes are found in the vast network that is babes, and an introduction is half the trouble over when you are in amongst it! The lone Maverick didn't always need wingmen anyway, although they are a welcome aid, flying solo can be adventurous.

Those crazy cats may not be on the prowl anymore, but I am sure I could call on them for backup anytime.

Pretty much Muggaz. I was the biggest fan of Top Gun in its heyday. I mean, it was iconic, right? For a generation that had grown up thinking that the protesters rather than the soldiers of the Vietnam war were cool, Top Gun was the first thing that came along and made military service cool. Unfortunately it was around the same time that movies started seriously using double-encoding/irony and the statement "a man's army" started getting a few chuckles around the dinner table.

Hell! How was i to know, I was about ten. I'm excused from the whole mess.
