A day to day acount of the whacky and wonderful world of Muggaz - i tend to be having too much fun these days, and often cannot remember moments due to debauchery - its time the internet repayed my loyalty by recording my antics.
It's just a joke guys...

President Bush was visiting a primary school. One of the classes was in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meanings.

The teacher asked the president if he would like to lead the discussion on the word "tragedy."

So the illustrious leader asked the class for an example of a "tragedy."

Little Jimmy stood up and offered, "If my best friend, who lives on a farm, is playing in the field and a tractor runs him over and kills him, that would be a tragedy."

"No," said Bush, "that would be an accident."

Little Suzie raised her hand:  "If a school bus carrying 50 children drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy."

"I'm afraid not." explained the president. "That's what we would call a great loss."

The room went silent.

No other children volunteered.

Bush searched the room.  "Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of tragedy?"

Finally at the back of the room little Johnny raised his hand. In a quiet voice he said:  "If Air Force One carrying Mr. and Mrs. Bush was struck by a "friendly fire" missile and blown to smithereens, that would be a tragedy."

"Fantastic!" exclaimed Bush.  "That's right.  And can you tell me why that would be a tragedy?"

"Well," says little Johnny, "it has to be a tragedy, because it certainly wouldn't be a great loss and it probably wouldn't be an accident either."

Sickening. Another post that makes me wish we had a negative vote for the original articles.

I think losing the President would be a great loss, and nothing really to joke about. I guess if you can't impose your logic on other people, sick satire is the next best thing.

I've been seeing a lot of dirt like this, I guess it shows how little Bush opponents have that will really stick.

Joke-butting Dubya is not quite the same thing as developing detailed alternatives to the policies of his administration.Email

Humor is way too under rated! A very funny joke that I will share with many.

Lighten up?

You just passed on the statement that the death of the President and his wife in a plane crash wouldn't be a great loss. You think finding that offensive is prudish?

There's no end to your sensitivity in other areas, no end to your intolerance of stupidity in other cases. You seem to have a blind spot with this one.

Baker... I dont think Georgy Peorgy would be too greatly offended by a random blog by some dude from Australia...

I think he would take it with a grain fo salt... as should you... He is the most powerful man in the world... he doesn't need mine or your sympathy.

BAM!!!

hmmm... Lighten up Baker. I heard the exact same joke told about Bill Clinton many years ago. Politicians really aren't worth defending tooth and nail like extended family. And they die, and disintigrate, and become worm shit, just like the rest of us.

I find it offensive, and I should take it how I choose to. I wouldnt' presume to tell you how to take it if someone said the same about your president. I can imagine what you'd say if one of us said that knocking off Chirac would be no big loss.

Hey Bakerstreet....it's totally cool, you can take something anyway you want to, and don't let anyone bully on you if you take it to heart! This just shows that you are a sensitive and caring person!
